These basses are prone to dings, like Jackson flying V tips..

I have this same bass -
This bass has the Piezo pickup system in its bridge, discontinued by MM a few years back - this could be a collector's item one day
The single coil sound is the neck position is stellar, there's a wide variety of tones between the two pickups, and the piezo pickup is eq-able (I vaguely remember the stingray version was not)
and the piezo is blendable in to the electric bass tone

Someone grab this before I wind up getting a second one!
