Lovely Translucent Blue-finished Matsumoku 80's Vantage VP795B in good condition, especially for its age. Includes OHSC, also in very good shape.
I purchased this bass from Pete Skjold's personal collection in December. It was a total vanity purchase. I owned a VP700B that was my main bass for years, and I miss it still. It was primarily walnut and pretty heavy, and I sold it locally to a young person. I had regrets for a while...
Anyway, I'm focusing on a) 5 string, 33" scale these days, and b) paying off the house. So I'm letting my vanity go.
Pete upgraded the bass with Graphtec Ratio tuners and the original tuners are included. I replaced the old brass bridge with a Fender style bent bridge, but can also include it on request.
34" Scale (online websites indicate this model also came in a medium scale)

Controls are V-V-T with a pickup selector switch on the upper horn
I believe it's a 1981 build based on the serial number
