I really don’t know, I haven’t played another Stingray in a long time. I believe it has the same nut width. It definitely has beautiful access to the upper register due to the neck thru design. It terms of the neck profile compared to the standard Stingray, I believe that is the only difference but I am not positive.

I find the Nordstrand can retain a really nice thick tone while retaining a serious punch at the same time. Lots of options with the on board preamp. Musicman is nice too but sometimes when dialing in a punch, it’s not as thick as I would like it.

That lines up with what I've heard! Let me know if ever you want to sell the Nordstrand separately, I'm in Canada.
