For your consideration a 2017 Paul Lairat Stega bass. This bass was built for 2017 Winter NAMM and is absolutely beautiful. I have owned many basses throughout the years and this one has been one of my favorites. The Madagascar Rosewood fretboard is sublime. It is truely a joy to play. Some of the users in Talkbass describe it as one of their 'Holy Grail' basses.

I just had this bass set up by Chicago Fret Works. They do a great job setting up instruments and they put on a new set of strings. Plays and sounds fantastic! This Stega is ready to go!
New this bass would cost close to 6K for a six string. On top of that - you would need to wait around 6 months for a build from Paul. Since some TB might not know about the quality of instrument - Bass Club of Chicago is selling a 5 string (Paul Lairat Stega Deluxe 5 Buckeye) . Build quality and sound quality is right up there with other top builders (Fodera, Sadowsky).

The bass is in good condition with minor scratches on the headstock and some on body (typical for a bass that has been played)
