This is a 2012 Stingray Classic V in excellent condition with a beautiful birdseye neck and headstock. Comes with the OHSC in excellent condition, as well as the current strap locks and the original strap buttons. This was a "short run" Stingray by EB which has an active/passive push-pull knob in the back position, and quite rare or hard to find on the used market (do a Google search).
YES, it has a true 2 band EQ/Preamp like all other Classics with the added push/pull knob that adjusts tone when pulled into passive mode, and all other knobs except volume are inoperable when passive. I reached out to my contact at EB and he confirmed the above info (I live 20 minutes from SLO facility). See attached pictures with my email conversation and the Ernie Ball serial # lookup info.
Neck is straight/amazing and truss rod operates as it should. Currently set with fairly low action, and just put new GHS Pressurewounds on it a couple weeks ago. Weighs in at 11.3 pounds with zero neck dive, well balanced in my opinion. It has some scratches on the pickguard and hardly noticeable whisper scratches on the body.
Too scared it will get scratched or stolen at gigs, so someone might as well enjoy it

Won't be sad if this bass stays with me forever, but it only gets played at home as mentioned before, so might be better off with someone else.
