Bossa basses are/were made by Osaka (Japan) luthier Toshio Setozaki.
My understanding is they were a high end line similar to Ateiler Z.
The bass is very light, approximately 8.2 lbs, and it has very beautiful color/finish (I call it purple burst; matching pickup covers). Classic jazz bass configuration (spacing and length), passive. I am unsure of body wood (ash?) but believe it’s an ebony board. It sounds very pure and transparent. I have a Sadowsky that has a more hifi sound and my Lull jazz is very deep and woody. This is between them in tone.
Comes with Gigbag.
