I just had a second Mooncaster built with a short scale neck that I'm keeping, so letting this one go.

Mooncaster medium scale (32”) bass. Body and neck were made by Warmoth Guitar Products, and assembly and pickup/wiring was done by a professional instrument repairman.

Body Specs:
Carved top hollow body, Mahogany core, figured Mahogany top
Ivoroid binding
Clear glossy finish
Hipshot Style D bridge – string-through or top mount

Neck Specs:
Tiltback Warmoth 32” scale
Roasted Maple shaft - no finish, fine-sanded smooth
Ebony fretboard
Ivoroid binding
Vintage small nickel frets
Cream fret dots
Hipshot USA Ultralite tuners

Pickups are TV Jones Thunder'Blade™
Controls: V-V-T-T
3-way switch: neck PU-both PUs-bridge PU

The bass is only lightly used and in near mint condition. No case, will ship in a lightweight gig bag. $890 shipped in the lower 48 USA.

Can you describe the tone of this bass....

I'm not very good at tone descriptions...it might be better if I let the bass speak for itself. There's close to an hour's worth of tunes with me playing this bass (although with a different neck - a 30" scale) here:



Jump ahead to the 3:28 mark to skip the yak at the beginning. To me it sounds like you would expect a semi hollow bass with TV Jones PUs - deep but with a bit of bark.
