My beautiful 2008 Bongo 4HH in Carbon Blue Pearl with a tortoise pickguard, plays beautifully. Very light wear with one unfortunate blemish at the headstock tip caused by a low-hanging ceiling fan (!) several years ago during a rehearsal. The finish otherwise is immaculate. 24 frets, 18v preamp, extreme versatility. Just haven't used it much lately, and it's too nice to be a case queen. Check out the photos and see!

No, Bongos use neodymium pole pieces, the Stingrays use alnico.

Like op said, neodymium but also both pickups are closer to the bridge as this has 24 frets and the stingray has 21 or 22 depending on model type. Another thing is the stingray has a 5 way selector switch and a bongo has a pickup blend pot.
