Been struggling with this decision. Finally time to let my 97 Jazz Deluxe go. This is a 97 with the Suhr pickups and preamp. It is Shoreline Gold with an aged pearl pickguard. Everything is stock.
I got this bass in 2003 and it has been my main gigging bass since. I moved to a 5 a few years ago and this has just not seen any use.
It is NOT a closet queen. I have drug this out at many many gigs. It has fretwear, buckle rash, scrapes and bumps. It plays and sounds great. Comfy 22 fret neck setup with low action. It is setup with Daddario balanced tension lights. It has a string through bridge. It is an active 9V pre. It weighs 9.4lbs.
It comes with the fender truss tool and the original hardcase. The case is beat up on the outside but functions fine. The case is missing one of the four latches and missing 3 of the 4 feet.
