Selling (or maybe trading) this amazing Dragonfly CS5 Custom bass. Ash body, flamed top, maple and walnut neck, 34.5” scale with the companies own proprietary pickups and 3 band EQ. Volume, Blend, Passive Tone along with 3 band EQ (Bass, Treble, Mid) and 2 switches…one for passive/active, the other to select mid frequency.

This has the string tension and piano like response due to the 34.5” scale, but plays as easily as 34”. I’m selling it because I’m moving to 33” scale basses and there is one that I have my sights set on.

The bass weighs 8.8 pounds and feels great. The neck is a shallow D and very comfortable. The original bridge was replaced with the kick ass that’s on there now. The string spacing is set at about 18.5mm, fully adjustable. The nut was replaced with a graphite version. The original bridge (17.5 mm) and nut are included. I’m not sure the brand of case, but it’s built like a tank!

Looking for $2300 plus 75% of actual shipping costs.

*** Now looking at trades - figure $2500 trade value. 33" and 34" scale 4's or 5's, nothing over 9 pounds and I prefer adjustable string spacing (not a deal breaker). I may take partial trades with added cash...I may add cash for something else. I also have a 5 sting 32" scale Wilkins PJ - perhaps a 2 for 1 scenario...value there would be $4500... If you have any ideas, run them by me. ***

These are the real deal. I own two Dragonfly 5 string basses and they are both amazing. Someone will be very happy with this and Mark is a great guy to deal with!

My Dragonfly CJ5 is a masterpiece. You really have to play one too appreciate it. Their Titan basses have that same 34.5, Five piece neck. Mine has no support rods, just well seasoned wood. Favorite preamp, period.
Someone's going to love owning this!

You're making my mouth water. :)
Well, if there's a bass that earns that acclaim, it's this one. Mine sounds and plays like this one but it's very different, in good ways. This one is even more high end and for this price, my mouth is watering too, Lol... and it's already in the USA. Just be warned, it's really hard to go back to normal jazz basses after this.
