UPDATE 3/29: I’ve changed the listing from ‘Sold’ back to ‘For Sale’, but the bass now has two finish cracks that occurred during shipping when I sold it. It also now has an awesome custom made ramp that’s attached via double sided tape.

I’m lowering the price to $2000 (+$50 west of Mississippi) due to the finish cracks. See posts #12 and #17 for recent pictures.

Stunning Status Stealth 2 w/red wrap-around LEDS! Picked up earlier this year here on TB and I’ve absolutely loved it, you will too :) The bass is near mint condition. The original hard Hiscox case is in excellent condition, as well.

This Stealth 4-string is a woven graphite neck-through construction, which makes it quite light (about 8 lbs). I love the easy access to the high frets on this bass. This custom model features a custom finish with faux binding, as well as the board 303 circuit upgrade. The bass came out of the Status Graphite factory in late 2014, as reflected in the paperwork (see pictures).

I’m including 2 additional sets of Status Hot Wire strings (40-100), which sound awesome on this bass. I also just replaced all 3 9V batteries to prepare for this sale.

I listed this on Reverb a few weeks ago for a hot minute before changing my mind and taking it down... grab it here before I change my mind again!

$2750 SHIPPED (+$50 west of the Mississippi River)

A clarification please. Do you know if the build on this actually 'neck-through' to the end of body? I own a similar Status Stealth. The graphite neck is set into the body, actually glued. It does not extend through the body.

The Status 2 is one piece of woven graphite, the neck is not glued on this one. The specs on the bass label it as “through-neck”:

The instrument features a woven graphite laminated, through-neck bass with phenolic fingerboard

I’ve seen on other Status basses where the neck is glued. If you’d like to discuss more shoot me a personal message, I’d be happy to send you more pictures, info, etc. Thanks!

Who ended up getting this beauty?

@Jon Muir

I actually still have it... I sold it to someone in the Southeast when one of those huge cold snaps was going on in the mid-Atlantic. The bass arrived to the buyer with two cracks in the finish from the cold... You can see the bigger one in the 2nd picture below. The buyer returned the bass and I refunded their payment, so it’s been back in my mix since.

I ended up having a ramp made for it after getting it back... SUCH a great playing and sounding bass!

I would be second in line after Jon :D

LOL I mean, I’d still sell this bass if anyone is interested. I’ll reactivate the listing and lower the sales price, per the two finish cracks... The new custom ramp makes this bass check all the boxes for me, and it’s honestly one of the best playing and sounding basses I’ve ever had. BUT I have a LOT of basses and am not one to turn away legitimate interest!
