Beautiful bass and great price.

Are you sure about the bridge being adjustable to 17mm? STR bridges are normally set at 19mm for 549's and 18mm for 548's. I've never seen an adjustable bridge on an STR. Is it the original bridge?

Priced it accordingly to remove the haggling, but it still persists. To be expected.

Good question, your right it is not the original bridge, it originally had a 19mm B style Hipshot and the last owner swapped it for an 18mm Hipshot A Style. The 18mm A Style Bridge has a 1mm +/- adjustment .

Thanks

I have the 4-string version of this, and it is a truly outstanding instrument. Right there at the top of what the finest Japanese craftsmen are offering these days. GLWTS!

Updated Photos added per request for the back and back of the neck. There are surface scratches (swirls) that are not being picked up from the photos, and a very small nick in the neck about the third fret. You can lightly feel it, but it is tough to see.

I haven't tried an STR yet, but hear great things. This looks like a whole lot of bass, with all the electronic and visual bells and whistles one could ask for, at a surprisingly low price point. If I didn't have an F bass with similar specs I'd scoop this up. Congrats to the person who does.
