This is a gorgeous specimen from Roger. The tiger's eye burst quilted top is absolutely stunning.
Specs:
#4761
5 string - 21 frets
Maple fingerboard
Ash Body
Tigers Eye Burst finish
5 string single J coil pickups
Sadowsky preamp with VTC (vintage tone control)
Black Hardware
1 and 7/8 inch nut width
12 inch fingerboard radius
Built April 30, 2007
8.75lbs
This one is on the cleaner side of excellent condition. Instrument has been well cared for over the years. Very little signs of fret wear. Very tiny crack in finish near neck pocket and a very small scrape on side of neck in the same area (see last photo). One of the screws in the string tree snapped in half leaving part of the screw in the headstock so I sent the bass to Roger Sadowsky to have him remove the screw and fix it. You can't really see any sign of repair due to the location and the fact that the spring covers it. A few faint scuffs on the rear control cavity cover. I don't think there are any other dings or dents. It is a used bass so I may have missed something but it would be minor. Has protective film over portion of the rear where your belt buckle or shirt buttons could touch the bass to protect it.
Huge Sadowsky sound and lovely to look at too. I'm selling primarily because I'm more of a soapbar kind of guy and really just looking to downsize in value. Ships with original Sadowsky soft side rectangle case.
Now for the eye candy.
$4300 shipped CONUS.
Might be open to a trade but 5 string only. Run it by me — worst I can say is no thanks.
