A great and mighty bass made in their 2nd year of production. This bass has that killer sound that is so sought after. There is no better plywood sounding bass, IMHO.
It has a new, ebony fingerboard, sound post, Wittner tailpiece, Goetz endpin and a false nut to bring string length down. The neck was repaired over 15 years ago by David "Blackie" Graham and it is solid. This is an easy to play, great bass. It has some wear and tear (see photos). Was $4700, now asking $3900. Located in the DFW area of Texas. Local pickup only.

Yes, this neck is solid and the bass sounds awesome. I hope I don't regret selling it.

I think we regret every instrument we sell at some point or another. But there are times when we just have to move on. I had a Tewksbury (kind of a Prescott more or less). It was gorgeous. It was a special bass with a vibe. But I needed to move on to something else. I knew it in my bones. I bought a cheaper bass, a smaller bass. It seemed like a downgrade but in reality it helped me get to the next step in my evolution and I still have that bass. Someone needs that AS right now. The wheel turns, we all benefit.

Great price on a great looking bass! GLWTS!

I've posted many a time how much I love my well set-up cheapo ply. But if I were anywhere in the area, I'd definitely check this out. Don't often see these big basses in this condition near this price.
