Ok so the plan was to take this down after the 26th but there's been a bass come up for sale here that I've had my eye on for many years so for now this is a for sale thread only. This week only I'm dropping it to 1700 shipped. Price is firm cannot budge at all. If I can't sale it this week at that price it's not meant to be sold. I checked shipping prices for fedex and UPS both for the UK today and shipping is nearly 800 dollars so unless you're willing to cover the shipping there as well I'll have to say CONUS only. Comes with OHSC.

I ask that you be patient with me. I have two kids, work nights in a factory, and the closest guitar stores are an hour away.

Is that not common practice? I just assumed that's how everyone done it. I made a trade here before and that's how it went.

Maybe I am misunderstanding what you are saying? The way your listing reads is that you expect the other person to ship 1st? Not even at at the same time? That's only gone fly if you have a ton of positive feedback and they have close to none(like you).

Again, maybe I have a communication breakdown in your languaging or how it reads? For legit trades between two integral parties, it's a pretty well common practice to ship on the same day or very close (unless possible circumstances are unique and discussed in advance) Having basses arrive within a day or so of each other is very useful. If someone tells me they cannot ship for a week, but the trade is solid, all good, we can *both* wait to ship in a week.

I traded a Warwick here some years ago and the guy sent me his trade first then once received I shipped mine out. I would assume that everyone would treat the trade offer as a form of payment ya know? You wouldn't ship your bass, or anything else for that matter, before it was paid for.
