This is a neck made by Freestone Guitars in New York.
The heel is cut to fit your typical Fender Jazz or P-bass body.
It fits. I know this for a fact.
I have done some work on it to make more ready for installation and to save you added time and money.
* I have cut and shaped the headstock to the design that you see.
* I have filed the sharp edges of the frets to a smooth feel. (Fret leveling not done)
* I have a cut brass nut fitted for the neck as well. That's included in the price.
* I have applied 6 coats of Birchwood Case Tru-Oil (gun stock oil) followed by 2 coats of their gun stock wax. Careful finishing sanding performed between every other coat using 3M finishing pads.
* "Rock"/ Hard Maple on Sapele.
* 20 Jescar "Medium, Jumbo" Frets. / Height - .047" Width - .104"
* Dual action truss rod with 4mm "Allen Key" Heel adjustment
* 34" Scale. / "C" Profile Shape / Flat Bottom Nut Slot.
* .825" Thick at 1st fret. / .920" Thick at 12th fret.
* Weight: 1 lb. 12.2 oz.
* Tuner Holes: 11/16"
