As stated in my other listings, the only reason I’m selling is too much gear, not enough time and too many bills. $1050 shipped CONUS.

UPDATE: Bass could use a setup and fret ends filed (my house is very dry this time of year … even with a humidifier running). As I am extremely short on time and I need cash, lowering to $900 shipped CONUS for quick sale and buyer handling setup.

How long will it operate with a full charge? Is the HEX output MIDI for playing thru a synth? Is it made in the USA?

Well, I just read on the Wilcox website the the battery lasts for 16 hours and that the HEX output works with a synth. Now I am just curious if it is made in the USA.

I had one and I can say build quality and feel was very good. Neck was super comfortable. Very nice range of sounds available from the bass without using any outboard electronics via HexFx. If I needed a five string I would be all over this.

Who or what is “Conus”, I assume a dispatch
2. How do I pay? ?

3. Is the bass complete with charger, possibly digital cable. Suitcase or gig bag.

4. Does it have any dings or dongs, damage?

I only know this version as fretless and I would like it as fretless.

I just bought a new 4-string Willcox Saber Bass VL. The fit and finish are very good, no issues there at all and it's a nice looking instrument. The sound is clear, as advertised. I was concerned about excessive string clatter but that is not an issue at all; probably quieter than my mag PU basses. It does not have a lot of organic overtones, so it has less "character" than might come from mag PUs. When I'm playing alone in the garage I like to hear those overtones. When I'm playing with the band, the Saber bass is fantastic. The fundamentals cut through exceptionally well and the attack is very clean and precise. My two cents. I'm impressed. If I hadn't just bought the four-string I'd be buying this one.
