1960 Fender Precision Bass, body only Foam Green re-finish in Nitro lacquer, neck has original finish, 1960 slab neck , neck is straight, truss rod works as it should, frets are original and in good condition, all parts date to 1960, neck plate SN 56457, black bottom pickups 11.2 ohm, pots date 3596 are original, pick-guard is original too, nice 1960 Fender bass case in great condition, light weight at 8.4 Lbs. FYI, 3596 is not pot date, you have them in the missing (on the photo) part 137XXYY where XX is year, YY month.

My '60 is less than 100 numbers below yours. I guess yours is VERY late 60 (like December) or early 61. What's the date on the body and real pot dates? Mine is around 8 LBS too, not extra light, but "regular light". Perfect balance, resonance and weight. Good luck with the sale!

Any chance that whoever did the refin was wise enough to not paint over the pencil date in the pickup cavity? Maybe try to get a pic posted?
My ‘60 is 521XX, absolutely stellar recording and performing instrument! The new owner will be grinning for weeks!
