Cool transition period 1974 jazz bass. Serial # is located on the neck plate instead of the headstock, which is indicative of a mid to late '74 transition bass. (Serial # on the neck plate dates to ‘73 telecaster bass - most likely fender just using whatever neck plate was laying around early on) Ash body, maple neck and board.
ONLY 7.4 lbs! Very resonant and feather weight! Seriously. It’s bizarre - soooo comfy.
100% original. Original grey bottom pickups, original pots (dates to mid '74), nut, frets and case are all original. Plenty of fret life left. Neck is straight, truss rod works perfectly. Pickups have amazing output and sound really good! Includes original ash tray and pickup covers. Knobs are original. Vintage badass bridge included.
Asking $3700 shipped CONUS. Only selling because of a lil baby on the way. Only trade I’m really interested in would be towards a CS Pino Paladino P Bass.
