Rare, vintage, unique, versatile.
I owned and played this killer bass since 1988. Cuts through any mix, be it rock, jazz, funk, experimental... – tried and proven in the studio and on stage.
I kept it in great shape. Absolutely no issues, just a few spots where the paint is scratched off a bit from playing over the years, and the expected belt buckle rush on the back… all normal cosmetic wear. See photos. Works perfectly otherwise.
With the 3 switchable passive jazz pickups (plus the tremolo) you can get pretty much any sound out of this baby, from a Jaco/Jazz growl to a P-Bass, from a MM Stingray piano to aggressive slapping, heavy rock...
Specs:
– Alder body (Jazzmaster/Jaguar shape);
– Bolt-on original Fender Jazz maple neck (straight, low action, smooth and fast) with dark rosewood fretboard;
– 3 noise-canceling split-coil Jazz Pickups, can be used in series, or in different configurations via push buttons;
– 2 EQ knobs to dial in lows and treble;
– Kahler Tremolo(!) Bridge;
– Original Fender tuners;
– Approx 9.3 lbs.
