Details

Designed by Dan Lakin. The tone, feel, and build quality of this bass is amazing. Classic P-bass tone for days; the pickup is killin'. Oil-finished neck. Light and resonant alder body. 8.4 lbs. Beautiful vintage gold finish with matching headstock. Hipshot Ultra-lite tuners and Wilkinson bridge with brass saddles. I hate to let this bass go but I have to thin the herd.

$700 shipped to the CONUS.

Made in Korea and finished in the UK at Ashdown. Dan Lakin designed them and worked with the Korean instrument builder to get the pickups sounding amazing.

These Ashdown basses are a great bargain. Build quality is on par with the USA fenders. I have 3 of these and they are all great instruments.

These are made in Korea by the same people that used to make the Lakland Skyline basses before Dan Lakin left the company and Lakland moved production to Indonesia.

These are indeed made in Korea however its not the plant that made the old Skylines. Those have always been made by Cort. The last run Lakin basses and these Ashdowns are made in the Mirr factory in Korea which is where Deusenberg and Reverend guitars are made. Super high quality. I have an Ashdown bass and its amazing.
