Up for your consideration here is my 2018 EBMM Stingray Special in dropped copper. I have owned many Stingray's over the years but they have all been single H models. This my second attempt at trying to bond with an HH model. I have decided that I like the single H Stingrays better. I cannot get used to slapping with the HH model. So, this is the reason I am selling this. This bass can pass for new. The plastic remains on the pickguard as does the inventory control sticker. I am the second owner of this bass. The original owner bought the bass and never played it. The case is in the same condition as the bass. This bass will not disappoint. Per the Ernie Ball website:

A key to success is feel. And the new StingRay Special feels better than ever. It's light, smooth and everything a bassist could ask for in terms of playability. Featured revisions include an enhanced contour that is rounded for more comfort in any playing position, a sculpted neck joint for uninhibited upper fret access to all 22 stainless steel frets, and lightweight aluminum hardware providing a lighter, more balanced instrument.

This is not only beautiful, but has all the best stuff:

Ash body
Roasted Maple neck
Maple Fretboard
3-band active EQ with 18 volts
2 Humbucking pickups with Neodymium magnets
Lightweight at 9.8 lbs.
Custom Music Man lightweight tuning posts with tapered string posts
Custom and original hardshell case

Please free to ask any questions that you might have. Trade considerations are for like condition single H pickup configurations Stingrays between 2000 and 2017. Stingray 5's will also be considered. Please add $100.00 for regular ground shipping in the CONUS only. Thanks for looking!

Hi! Are you sure about the weight? I thought all Specials were under 9 lbs?

Overall, the Specials are much lighter, but there is still a decent number of them over 9lbs. I’ve owned 6 and 3 of them were slightly over 9. The other 3 were about 8.5.

Just lower the top pickup all the way down and slap a single H pick guard on it. Problem solved.
