This was my first Super-J but not my last! I really hate to part with it, but I have other purchases to fund and I just can't keep everything. If you know Dingwall, you know the fit, finish, sound, and playability are amazing. And this one is beautiful.
This is one of the first 5-string Super-Js, supposedly purchased from NAMM when this configuration was introduced in mid-2008. It is in excellent shape, it was pretty much a case queen from 2009 until I bought it in 2019. I have gigged it frequently since then, but still cannot find any dings or blemishes on it. The fretboard maple has some natural variation in appearance and is starting to get a little bit of an aged-mellow vibe. I've never yet needed to adjust the saddle or the truss rod, despite living in a 4-season climate. It's currently strung with (slightly battered) Payson Black Daggers from @Blues Cat , because they are made for the 32-35" multi-scale and look killer with the black inlays and black body. Questions welcome!
Price includes a 2018-era Dingwall gig bag or a TKL semi-hard case (your choice) and shipping within CONUS. If you want to switch it out from the stunning "Geddy" color scheme, there's also a second pickguard in gray pearloid (shown slapped on in one photo).
