Here is my super-clean EB5 -- other than a couple very small marks in the open-grain wood, it's nearly mint. I'm the original owner. It has a great-feeling, super-fast asymmetrical maple set-neck with Rosewood fingerboard and a super B string. Hardware includes a Babicz bridge and Gotoh tuners.
When I got this bass, I loved everything about it but the tone. I took it to Mike Lull, who encouraged me to add an active Bartolini 18 volt three-band preamp with midrange frequency selector and series-parallel selector. The bass now has a much greater range of adjustment, while still maintaining the wallop of those massive EB5 pickups!
