Greetings TB, I’ve got a very nice 1981 Aria Pro II SB-900 up for sale (no trades at this time). It has the 2 pickup configuration with the dual sound switches (series/parallel) and stacked vol/tone knobs for each pickup. These have the wider nut width (around 44mm) but narrower string spacing and width of the neck in the upper register compared to the SB-R models and SB Elites.
This is a beautiful example in padauk red. It’s in excellent shape for its age with most of the scratches coming on the back of the bass. I just had the bass set up at Uptown Music in Keizer, OR with SS Rotosound swing 66s (100-40 gauge). They also filed down the edges of the fretboard which had developed some fret sprout. There is a bit of finish cracking at the nut (E string side) and another tiny crack I noticed on the fretboard up near the 20th fret area. Everything’s functioning as it should, though! Truss, electronics, and yes the pickups! It appears all original except for the strap pins look like replacements to me.
These basses are infamously heavy and this one came in at about 11lbs. I will ship it in an SKB style case which is in good condition but has a crack in one of the corners that I repaired with some glue a couple years back. Most likely FedEx or UPS ground. CONUS Shipping and insurance included in the price.
