Details

TraceElliot 1153 cabinet in really nice condition. The 15" Celestion driver in this is a great sounding full-range speaker. No tweeter needed here! Specs are: 200w, 8-ohm, 32hz-5Khz, 98dB, 60lbs.
I brought this cab up to the 21st century by replacing the xlr jacks with Neutrik speakon connectors.
Two available. Makes for a mighty stack!

Local sale only. Located in Syracuse. I might consider doing a meet-up if buying both cabinets.

Can someone explain Trace's naming convention for its cabs?
I'll take a stab at it, however, my theory only holds water up to a point.
I believe it's based on the number of speakers and the size of the cabinet. And this is going by the older Trace cab dimensions. Let me explain. For example:
Model 2103H = 2-10" speakers, HF horn, cabinet size-3 (exterior dimensions) 610mm x 480mm x 430mm.
Model 1153 = 1-15" speaker, cabinet size-3 (exterior dimensions) 610mm x 480mm x 430mm.

Model 1048H = 4-10" speakers, HF horn, cabinet size-8 (exterior dimensions) 700mm x 610mm x 430mm.
Model 1518 = 1-15" speaker, cabinet size-8 (exterior dimensions) 700mm x 610mm x 430mm.
Model 1818 = 1-18" speaker, cabinet size-8 (exterior dimensions) 700mm x 610mm x 430mm.

Model 1524 = 2-15" speakers, cabinet size-4 (exterior dimensions) 920mm x 610mm x 430mm.
But here's where my theory falls short...Model 1084H has 8-10's and a horn but the cabinet is considerably larger than the 2x15 at 1380mm x 610mm x 430mm.

Hadn’t thought of the cabinet volume in the naming convention. That’s interesting.

Belatedly,
I used a 1152, which is a ported wedge monitor & rare.
Loaded it with a EV15L, so heavy but the shape made it easie to carry. With the wedge to the waist my chin and legs were not impacted, unlike a square cab.
I recommend a monitor cab.
