Details

Selling my 2008 Dingwall Super J5 Geddy that I have owned since 2010. I’ve always kept flat wounds on it and it is currently set up with TI Jazz Flats so it shows very minimal fret wear. There are some small depressions but no through the finish dings. I’ve tried to get close up pics to show them all but some seem to elude the camera. Most aren’t that noticeable unless the light hits them just right. It has the Aguilar preamp and Dingwall SF-5 Super Fattie pickups. The neck is 7 piece laminated and you can feel ridging along the back of the neck. I understand this is fairly common and it has been stable over the decade plus that I’ve owned it. I point it out in case that sort of thing would bother you. Very comfortable to play at 8.58 lb and sounds great. The lower price includes a G&G Kiesel black tolex case, the higher price includes Mono Vertigo M-80 gig bag. Bass will be well packed and shipped fully insured. Price includes shipping to lower 48. Payment to be by PayPal Friends & Family. Thanks for looking and don’t hesitate to PM me With any questions.

Guess I should point out that I’m not looking for any trades. Only exception I might consider would be a 4 string Dingwall plus cash offer.

JEEZE, a beautiiful bass at a great price. Plus with a Mono Vertigo (by far the best case I've ever owned)? Awesome deal.
If I remember correctly, I paid $150 extra for the Mono Vertigo with the purchase of a Super P5 that I bought. It’s by far the most convenient solution I’ve found.

It is an Aguilar OBP-1, 2 band preamp with an active/passive mini switch. The controls are volume, pickup selector, bass and treble.
The four pickup options are bridge only, both in parallel, both in series and neck only.
The bass control only functions in active mode. The treble functions in both modes and works like a standard tone control when in passive mode. It is 18 volt and the batteries are accessed easily as the cover is held in place by magnets.
