This was a fun build to put together, but my Nate Mendel Signature is getting all of my P attention these days, so this one's gotta go!
I paired my spare 2019 Vintera 50s Precision neck with a brand new 2021 poplar Classic Vibe 60s Precision body + a brand new loaded Nate Mendel Signature pickguard.
I replaced its stock pickups w/ a set of super vintage & uncommon Bartolini Hi-A pickups (they sound GREAT!)
It's SUPER light (7.8 lbs according to my digital floor scale, so around 8 lbs, to be safe.) To counter the bit of neck dive from the stock Vintera tuning keys I put some chrome Omega Bass bridge saddles on a black Hipshot Kickass bridge plate- this remedied the dive some but my next move to completely balance things out was to put some Gotoh Res-O-lites on it. Perhaps something the next owner should consider. I'm OK with it as is though lol.
Bass is in great shape & doesn't have any perceptible dings or scratches on the body or neck. The pickups are a lil beat up but they're 100% tip-top functional. Bartolini makes a robust pickup!
