Sadowsky NYC built 24 Fret bass. **PRICE DROP**Custom ordered by me, finished in Aug/2017. Since then it has spent the entire time in my A/C'd, Pet and Smoke-free home. Never gigged.
It's a Quilted Maple top over a chambered Alder body, finished in Tigers Eye with a solid brown back stain. No Burst here so you see all of the quilted beauty. The neck is Maple with an Amazon Rosewood fretboard with Abalone dots and it has the Will Lee width at 1.45" wide with a 9" radius. It is a joy to play. The weight is 8 lb. 7.9 oz. Black hardware completes the look.
It has Sadowsky Soapbars with the incredible Sadowsky preamp, Vol/Blend/VTC, push-pull for passive & active/Stacked Bass & Treble. It's currently strung with a set of Sadowsky Blue Label Flats 45-105s, but I can swap them out for a set of Sadowsky Blue Label Nickel Rounds 45-105s, if you prefer.
It comes with a Sadowsky Hardshell case, very rare, and it fits like a glove. Still has the plastic protector on the back and you'd be hard pressed to find a mark on this beautiful instrument.
The last few photos were from Sadowsky, they are much better quality than mine, they really show the true color of the bass.
I'm including a set of Nordstrand Jazz Bars, basically single coil jazz pickups in a Soapbar shell. I found them to be way too noisy on any setting but both pickups full on. Might be a pickup problem or I just don't like single coils, all of my basses are hum cancelling.
This bass would cost you $6925 to order today, and I'm not sure if there would be an upcharge for the Will Lee neck on top of that. Get a great deal here on a mint bass at $4350 w/ Paypal F&F and avoid the 1 year build time.
