For sale here I have my Fender Hama Okamoto Precision Bass in Olympic White (Excellent condition). These basses were made in Japan and were sold exclusively in that market. I had this one imported last year.
Some of the specs that make this P bass a little different from the norm are: Jazz Bass width at the nut, lollipop tuners and bridge cover ashtray. The red tort guard is also a little more red than anything I’ve seen on other MIM or MIA Fenders over the past few years. All said, it’s a unique P that still retains a classic look.
The pickup is pretty hot, I usually have to roll the volume off slightly, but otherwise has the signature Precision tone.
Weight is 8.25 lbs
The sale will include the basic Fender gig bag I received with the bass.
