These are the best gut strings I've ever played. Pistoy D, Lyon G. They're in great shape - bought used here on TB (age and gauge unknown), oiled and lightly sanded where necessary, had on my bass for about 3 months. I love everything about these strings except I can't hang with the gut amplified tone. I'm back on Spiros on my AmStd.
