Hello Talkbass. What you see here is a lovely Serek Midwestern 2 in a satin capri orange finish. I am the second owner of this instrument but I bought it brand new from the person who ordered it. After waiting a year and a half for it they were looking at other things, so I lucked out with a brand new Serek and didn't have to wait!
Its a 30.5 in scale, loaded with aguilar dcb pickups, has an upgraded zircote fingerboard and is currently strung with Labella rx nickel shortscale strings. Controls are volume, volume, blend. It will come with a set of labella white nylon tapewounds as well which were on the bass when I got it. Comes with the serek gig bag.
I've only had the bass about six months, but in that short time it did get two small dings on it. As most of you know, Serek finishes chip pretty easily. Both of the spots are pictured. Other than those two spots, its in perfect condition.
Admittedly I'd like to keep the bass, but I'm in the market for an upright so something has got to go lol. Asking $3000 plus shipping costs.
