Many of us here are too familiar with the G.A.S. cycle. 1. We buy....too much and then 2. We sell.
I am listing some really nice bass gear. All of it is wonderful and yet I have way too much so here goes:
Yamaha TRB 1006 in really fine condition. This bass was made in Korea. The last photo shows two small dings on the lower edge of the body. There are some very small marks on the back that I could not get to show up in a photo. The 3 piece Maple neck is cherry and has a really pretty Rosewood fingerboard. Frets are in fine shape with very little wear. The quilt Maple top is very pretty.
This one sat somewhere and has not lived in smoky bars or been on the road.
Electronics include the usual volume, blend, bass, mid and treble controls. It all works as it should and sounds great but there is one thing about the electronics that I find odd. The control pots are soldered directly to the PC board so there is no way to have them in the wrong hole and yet the volume and blend controls are reversed from normal position. The bass weighs about 10.5 pounds. The scale is 35".
This bass sets up really nice (dual truss rods) and plays great. It is a whole lot of bass for the money. Not looking for trades. I really need fewer basses.
PayPal is accepted. Shipping is included. The bass comes in a gig bag.
