This is an exquisite Roscoe Century 5 string with a wonderful combination of woods. Killer highly figured Cocobolo top with Wenge layer over Ash body. The neck is Maple with center and sweet Wenge fingerboard. Matching headstock with Cocobolo top.
• Roscoe Bartolini 3 band preamp
• Roscoe Bartolini pickups
• 35" scale
• 18mm string spacing
• Dunlop strap locks
• Roscoe hardshell case included
This combination results in some killer funk and punchy fingerstyle yet warm and huge sounding at the same time. The B string is monstrous (like all Roscoes tend to have).
It is in overall excellent condition with high gloss finish. A couple of slight indentations on the neck. The gold on the bridge saddles is fading somewhat and there is a little wear on the bridge. Finish is great and no real dents or dings or other imperfections of significance I don't think. Maybe a bit of swirling in the finish. Pickup covers have a bit of wear like is common with the Bartolini's. It is a used bass of course so please don't expect it to be perfect. Neck is straight and truss rod turns just fine.
A really nice specimen here.
This is a killer Roscoe!
$3,150
Primarily looking to sell but feel free to run trade offers by me via private message. Worst I can say is "I'll pass".
Feel free to run any questions by me via private message too.
Thanks!
