PRICE REDUCTION: now $1950
I’m selling my beautiful purple color Warwick Streamer stage 1 bass; solid maple wings in beautiful violet gloss finish ; 7 piece neckthrough made of maple and wenge and a wenge fingerboard. Gold Hardware ; I added a 3 band Glockenklang preamp (9 volt). Not shown in the pictures but now it has 3 Bands with a concentric bass and treble knob; this bass has 20 mm string spacing . I also added Delano pickups (again not shown in the pictures) ; these great pickups give the bass a much better tone than the original Bartolini pickups . This is a rare bass in many ways:
gloss finish , violet color , wide neck.
The bass sounds beefy and aggressive!
Insured shipping is included within the continental USA. Professionally packed in a decent gig bag .

Hi
No real blemishes nor defects ; May be a scratch or two but nothing significant. The bass is in very good shape for a 34 year old veteran !
I don’t have a scale but this bass is heavy! It’s pure maple and the wider neck and brass hardware does not help either .
I will try to measure it at my moms scale later this weekend.

Just check the neck laminates under the violet gloss finish on the back of the bass;
Killer !

Maybe just timing. 89 is a pretty good era for Warwick's. Widenecks are rare-ish. But it could be a turn off for some.
Beautiful bass. Have some patience, someone will probably come along and scoop it up as their dream bass.

I think it's due to unknown weight - seems like most us are racing to get into lighter instruments as bodies start to fail! I'd be tripping over myself to get my hands on this fine piece of German engineering if I close enough to demo and you had any trade considerations.

The Delano/Glock combo just about triples the Teutonic-Funk effect!

I feel like just sitting around playing along with classic Jamiroquai albums would be worth the price of admission...

Yeah it's definitely the weight. Lot of players are looking for something 9lbs or less these days. Maybe not as bad as you think OP. Getting an accurate weight will help a lot. I bet it sounds fantastic.
