Extremely clean and wonderful sounding combo. It's just a little dusty. No tears in the tolex, and just a few scrapes I tried to capture in the pics.
I have had this baby for almost 10 years. Used mostly for studio stuff, but it has ventured out to do smaller acoustic gigs. It even held up pretty good in a louder setting with a drummer a few times, but I'd throw a mic in front of it. Did great for stage volume. I only play passive basses, but I did have a Sterling not to long ago that this thing didn't agree with very well. Seemed like the bass was just to hot for it. Could have been me and my child like approach to active basses and not knowing the controls, or it could have been that bass that I could never get a sound I liked out of with any amp.
All that said, the best bass I ever paired this amp with was a Jack Casady! Even with it on the 500 setting, this amp took everything I threw at it!
I will ship, and shipping is included in the price if you are East of the Rockies. If you are west, I'm kindly asking for $25 extra. Those dang mountains can put a dent in the wallet even for lighter things! This thing is old school and heavy, so I hope that sounds reasonable. Speaking of weight, my scale shows it at 60lbs with casters. Most sites say 65lbs, so don't know if this is special one or if they vary in weight. Would like to make another reference to the casters that roll perfectly, and can be popped out if preferred.
