I was forced to buy a new (used) car yesterday. So, now I have a 2018 Honda Accord BUT this puts me in a position to sell this bass. Same old TB sob story "I don't want to sell."

With no exaggeration this bass totally unique and fantastic in every way. Materials, wood, electronics, playability, fit, finish, appearance, and a cool back story.

The four ply pick guard, two tone sunburst, Ti hardware, electronics (its voice), perfectly cut nut and maple neck (that rosewood board is too much!) all combine to make the Richie among the best bass I have ever owned.

I am in a constant search for under $1k basses that punch beyond their weight class. This bass is one of my best finds.

Shipping and case included. For sale only, no trades and price is firm. I don't know how you could replace this bass, truly a one of a kind. I think it is a $2K bass.

Condition is the same as the day I got it with the addition of a fresh set up.

Original sale thread. Some good pics here:

No it is not. The original sale thread is in my FOR SALE post, a TB purchase from LanEvo.
I believe it is, they both seem to have the same dark spot in the woodgrain on the back. My reason for asking was to confirm that the parts from Allparts.

A member with whom I have made several TB transactions, sent me a text asking what is going on with the sale of this bass. So I want you guys to know the situation.

One of our community members is unrelenting {via PM to me} insisting that I am trying to "pass off" this bass as something that it is not. In effect, attempting to rip you off. This is patently not true. I would never do that. To keep the peace, and ride myself of this bothersome nuisance, I have listed this as "no longer available." Hope this does the trick.

If anyone was mislead or in any way hoodwinked by me, I want you to know that it was never my intent and I am sorry.

Just came across this thread. I bought the bass in Brooklyn a few years ago and sold it for what I paid.

Not sure what the controversy is, but all Richie’s instruments are made from AllParts parts. Just like most “boutique” builders. Do you think Nash (for example) builds their bodies and necks in-house? At least Richie is open about where he sources his parts and charges accordingly.
