I’ve had some questions about the Pope pre-amp.

You can learn more about the Pope preamp here: FLEXCORE PREAMPS - High performance onboard bass preamp

I have 3 different basses with Pope Flexcore preamps. On this one the controls are Vol with push/pull for active/passive, blend, stacked low/high mids, and stacked treble/bass. This version is 9volt. I have another bass wired for 18 volts.

The modules for each band have jumpers to set the frequency affected. I believe that on this bass the treble is set to 6kHz (alternate is 10kHz). Hi-mid is set to 1kHz and low mid is set to 384 Hz (could be 1.8.kHz and 473Hz respectively). Bass is set to 90kHz but could be 46kHz.

There is a lot of versatility in sound with 4 bands and the ability to set affected frequency ranges.
