This Dragonfly / Harry's Engineering Japan BD5 5-String bass guitar is Used but in Good Condition: this is a player grade instrument that has been gigged regularly. The body is in Fair Condition with buckle rash / finish wear on the back as well as nicks, small dings/dents and scratches.
The neck is in Very Good Condition: back of the neck is smooth, the frets are in excellent, near perfect condition (no string wear, grooves or flat spots). The fingerboard has been cleaned and oiled and the bass was setup with new D'addario nickel roundwound strings, setup with very low action and proper intonation (truss rod and saddle screws all turn smoothly). A non-original padded gig bag will be included.
Harry's Engineering / Dragonfly is a high-end Japanese guitar brand (comparable in quality to Tune, Atelier, STR, ESP, Sugi etc); it was founded 25 years ago by luthier Tatsuaki Totani San (nicknamed Harry), who had previously been at Aria Pro II in the 1980's.
