Details

Recently purchased this on Reverb. It is a nice bass, but I need to sell this to finance my most recent spontaneous by (GAS). This bass is in good condition, sounds and plays great. It is 40+ years old, so it does have some battle wear, but nothing that impacts sound or playability.

For the uninitiated, this bass is a great and affordable first step into the wild and mystical world of Alembic. If Middle Earth was a bass, it would be this one.

I played one of those in a store in a remote town in Italy in the mid/late 80s. It fit me like a glove. Everything about it was perfect to my ears, my hands, and my eyes. Unfortunately, it was priced way out of my means at the time. Plus, this was pre-Euro Italy, so the price was in Lira, so WAAYYYY too many 0s in the price.
