I have a feeling I may regret this some day, but up for grabs is an incredibly sweet Serek Armitage bass. The only reason I am selling it is because my goal is to slim down to one of each model of the Serek basses and I still need to add a Metropolis to my arsenal. I also recently made a career change and money is a little tighter than usual at the moment. It is in excellent condition with the exception of some wear near the bottom strap button which I have shown in the pictures.

This bass somehow screams Serek to me, but also is fairly unique.

What makes it special:
Model: 34" Serek Armitage completed in June of 2022
Finish: Vintage White is technically the color but it's not as "yellow'd" as other Sereks I've seen in this color, closer to a stark white by request. With matching headstock!!!
Body Wood: Poplar
Neck Wood: Quartersawn Maple
Fingerboard Wood: Ebony
Pickup: The now rare and unobtainable White dog-eared Serek B-90 w/ dummy coil (tone pot push/pull), and diode clipping/skuzz circuit (volume pot push/pull)
Hardware: Hipshot Lollipop Tuners with Bass Xtender on the E String!
Weight: 7.9 lbs
Case: Heavy Duty Serek Gig Bag

This has the old-style Armitage pick guard, in fact it might be the last example of an Armitage with the old guard design. Part of what makes it unique.

It's currently wearing rounds but I'll include the original Dunlop flats.

The tone is in the P-bass neighborhood but with more character and guts.

This is bass is loaded and cool as can be.

Full Disclosure: The bass was originally painted a very lemony white finish by mistake, NOT what the original owner wanted or ordered, Jake took it back and resprayed/refinished it in the current finish. There is debate on if the bass was stripped and refinished or if they simply sprayed over the lemony white. I personally believe they sprayed over it. Where there is wear near the bottom strap button it's not through to the bare wood and you can see a bit of lemony white poking out. I've never been able to get a straight answer from Serek on if it was completely stripped(unlikely in my opinion) or if they sprayed over the original. In any case, Serek basses are known to have a fairly fragile and thin finish but this one is more durable it seems and smoother due to Poplar being a less porous wood than Mahogany the body wood they typically use. Regardless the bass sounds freaking killer!!!

I'm looking for $2700 shipped in the 48.

Hit me up with any questions!

I'm really not looking for trades unless you have a 5 string Serek Metropolis(there's like 4 in existence currently) or a Mike Lull IMA4

I can speak directly to both A) eventually regretting selling the bass and B) it’s sweetness

Killer Armitage from a top notch TBer!

Don’t sleep on this one! If I wasn’t currently culling a Serek myself, I’d jump back on this one!

GLWTS!
