I need to sell a History MMBJ 4-string sub-short-scale (27") bass in excellent condition. The bass was made in 2002 at the FujiGen factory, and designed and sold exclusively by Shimamura Gakki. The finish is a sort of an Ocean Turquoise shade of metallic greenish blue, with matching headstock. The condition is described here as excellent rather than mint only because of literally a single slight dent on the edge of the lower bout that I've documented in the photographs.
The bass is currently strung with factory custom-length stainless steel roundwound strings, and I will include three brand new, unopened sets of identical custom-length stainless roundwound strings purchased directly from Shimamura Gakki.
The original factory gig bag is included, and, contrary to the labeling on the bag, this is not a toy, but a decent sub-short-scale MIJ instrument tunable, as it currently is, to EADG, that sounds, plays, and looks great.
