I am the second owner of this Fender Custom Shop ‘59 Precision. It has a beefy neck and is crazy resonant. The notes really project and the neck depth no doubt adds to the resonance as you feel it vibrate when you play.
This instrument is in excellent condition and, to my knowledge, has no dings or marks beyond the Journeyman relicing it came with. It is objectively the best built Precision I have ever played. It does best my 1968 Precision, but I am keeping that for sentimental reasons. The only reason I am letting this one go is I am looking for a more modern sounding Precision with a maple board to contrast my ‘68.
