ADDED STRAIGHT SALE SHIPPED PRICE.

Hi all, so I had longed for a USA Cirrus for years and found one for sale locally in PRISTINE condition and jumped on it. Of course found out everything they claim is true: this bass is a seriously well made, killer sounding, and incredible playing instrument. BUT it's just not what I'm needing for right now. Sure I could pack it away until the day I'll play it more, but then I won't have those treasured pains of regret!

Walnut with Bubinga top. Serial ages it to 2005. 35" scale. Absolutely incredible shape, no blemishes (outside of small shiny spot on front pickup from thumb placement). Strung with new Hi Beams. I don't have a scale, these generally weigh <9 lbs, and this one does not feel even that much, but I'll say 9 to cover my lack of preparation. Original electronics (18v) and pickups. Comes with the green fur USA Cirrus case.

What I AM looking for: USA or Japanese Fender P bass or comparable P bass from another company, or even BB series Yamaha. Probably passive. Even though I'm a sucker for Frankenstein basses not looking to trade this bass for one. I'm not a jerk so feel free to send trade offers that don't align with this, but these are what I'm really looking for.

Looking for even trades, but willing to trade up a little with cash from my end.

No problem at all! Serial number lookup with Peavey. Previous owner did it. The green fur case indicates American made, but that is a secondary proof as someone could buy one and stick an import in.
OK Thanks, where is the serial number located on these ?

Serial number is on back of headstock. Offshore models are generally marked bxp. Only a few finishes available
On the cirrus bxp. Many on the USA ones. Same with the millennials. USA millennium plus models have hipshot ultralight hardware and d tuners factory too

I've been deep down the rabbit hole on Peavey pages and can confirm the serial wasn't always on the back of the headstock on US models.

S/N Stamped into the back of the headstock, ABM Bridge, & wider neck stringers are dead giveaways. Older ones...like this one, have the bold lettered "PEAVEY" logo on the headstock. Later ones and BXP imports have script logos.
