Here are some casualties of buying random stuff for my wife's foray into learning bass (which began about 3 weeks ago.)
A "leather" strap (unlikely to be real leather) by LM Products that I measured 57.5" fully extended. She didn't like it because it was too wide. I tried it out but decided I like my extra-long straps better. It's this one:

I also have some mystery flats. I believe they are D'Addario Chromes. They came on my wife's Fender JMJ Mustang which we bought used from a local store. Based on the colored ball ends and blue silk, I believe them to be Chromes. However they are quite heavy (I would guess at least 50 gauge) so I'm guessing they are regular long scale strings that someone cut to fit this particular Mustang. The JMJ Mustang is basically a 60s reissue which means it only has a through-body string option... which means that even though it's a 30" short scale bass, it requires medium scale strings. I learned this the hard way when I bought the wrong length rounds to replace them (my wife discovered right away that she prefers rounds.) I couldn't find any medium scale Chromes on the D'Addario website that are this heavy which is why I think they are long scale Chromes that have been cut. I could be wrong, they may be medium scale. In any case, they fit a string-through-body Mustang just fine. Minus some fraying of the silk , they are in perfectly good shape and I'd hate to throw them away.
I'll let the strings go for $19.99 or best offer lower 48.
