This is a gem that I found locally. It's a Lakland 44-64 made in Chicago, in a gorgeous Lake Placid Blue.

This bass has led a fun life before me, it's got a few scars to prove it, which I tried to show in the pictures. Back of the neck is free of dings.

It has the sought after 1.75" nut and the amazing Lakland pickups. One of the best sounding P basses I've played. It weighs 8.575 lbs.

I have the original case, which has a few scratches, but it is in decent shape. I'm looking at $1,750 shipped CONUS.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Any chance of the serial number (range) or what era?

The serial number that is stamped on the headstock is "PS-001". I asked Lakland and they couldn't find any records of it. The body has a number written on the neck pocket. Lakland said it was of a bass that went to Sweetwater. So maybe PS-001 was the first Sweetwater P? I think this bass is maybe 10 years old. Hope that helps!1000080105.jpg
