Details

Sweet 2004 Skyline Hollowbody (34" scale) in Inca Silver. This is one of the highly esteemed early ones with the Bartolini pickups. Best-sounding hollowbody or semi-hollow that I've ever owned (and I've had a number of good ones).

My health is on the decline, so I'd like to sell this one because it doesn't get played as often as my others. I'm at the point where I can only play for any amount of time sitting down, and this isn't as comfortable as my short-scales for me anymore while sitting. Killer tone.

I'd say it's in excellent condition, except for one tiny chip below the pickup selector switch (about 1/16th of an inch). You can see it in the first pic. The flake in the Inca Silver looks stunning. Comes with a hardshell Jack Casady case.

Local sale only. I'm willing to drive halfway to meet up with Nashville or Mississippi buyers. I can't drive real far anymore because of my back pain.

8 lbs., 15.2 oz on my postal scale.

$1,000.00 firm. No trades. Let me know if you're interested or have questions. Thanks.

Man.. I spent weeks looking multiple times a day for one of these. I ended up getting a dangelico since these never pop up. Exciting to see one on here! I am not local though.

Yeah, I'm just tired of the hassle of shipping. And since this is a pretty big-bodied bass (and case!!) I'd really like to avoid shipping. Especially with the back problems I'm having. Very impressive bass though!

Beautiful! And these early Bart models are amazing. Keeping an eye on this as I’ll be in northern Alabama in a couple of months

This is one of the great ones from Lakland's first run of Korean instruments. The EPI case is leaps and bounds better than what these came with. I owned this one twice and in between had all import versions, including a Darkstar, before buying it back and selling it to Jeff, years later. He's a great guy to deal with and a stellar TB'er. Sorry to hear about your health Jeff, I remember we spoke of our back issues during the sale. Someone's going to be very happy they jumped on this one.

Vincent, thanks so much for the kind words. This really is a killer bass! ...Yeah, walking is becoming harder and harder for me, even using a cane. Tried physical therapy, cortisone shots, and spinal nerve block; but nothing seems to help. And I'm trying to avoid spinal surgery. But we'll see. Thanks again, brother!
