Selling my 1978 jazz bass. Breakout of what is original:
Pickups / Bridge / Tugbar / Tuners / Knobs / Pots / Pickguard - all original. Pots are CTS dating to 1979 and with the serial number being 1978 my guess is this was a late 1978 (and the 88 number suggests that too). The OHSC is original too, still works ok but as normal the small latches on the outside arent in the best shape (they hold tho).
Bass was refin to natural, it used to be black (see pic of the neck pocket). Other than the refin its all original.
I also added a ramp that matches the wood - completely removable, just double sided tape so if you want to remove you can.
Check youtube video for playing clips, its a killer bass that does the marcus sound, only selling cause i have a '75 as well and just decided to keep that one. Any questions on anything just let me know. Thanks!
