Friends, this one isn't easy. This bass was built for me by Moon, I received it in 2024. I ordered it through Bass Japan Direct, and Danny called it "one of the best basses he's ever played". This is a Moon JJ-4 Custom, I'll try to list all the specs:
-Lightweight alder body with satin black finish
-Bound and blocked flamed maple neck with a slightly thinner off-menu neck profile
-70s bridge pickup spacing
-Gotoh Bridge/Tuners/Hardware + 1 Hipshot Xtender for Drop D
Some upgrades I've given it:
-EMG JVX pickups (volume, blend, tone)
-Dunlop Strap locks (duh!)
** the original Moon pickups and electronics will be included : )
She's got a few bumps which I tried my best to photograph on the satin black finish - nothing that is noticeable from a few feet away and of course nothing that affects playability in any sense.

And if you're so inclined, I played this bass for an "On The Radar" performance with Leon Knight!!
I paid a little more than $3500 to have this built, I am asking $2250 shipped CONUS. I really can't think of anything I would want as a trade at this moment, but ya never know!! That being said I would much, much prefer to sell this bass as I am currently on the road quite a bit and trying to own less things : )
