For sale/trade: a brand new Electro-Harmonix White Finger compressor. These things sell for $179 from most dealers. Any of you that hang around the effects forum know that I am like "the cranky compressor guy". I'm constantly buying and trying different comps. I always wanted to try this one out, and I'm glad I did, but it's not enough of an improvement over my other comps to be a keeper. Plus it's huge- it's the size of a hardcover mystery novel. The short version of my review of it is that it is very musical sounding, very flexible (it provides several different types of compression, and they are all useful and good-sounding) and creamy/funky; but it also adds some noise to the signal. This is a perfect comp for a loud funk/rock/blues band. Here's the Harmony Central reviews. I bought it brand new, and it is in new condition with all the original stuff as shown.
I guess I'm asking $100 (shipped) OBO. I'm also open to trades, especially for other pedals (you know I like the boutique and uncommon stuff!) and I also want a set of Nordstrand NP4s. I do take Paypal, and I do ship internationally, although I may need to ask for a bit extra for international postage. Thanks!
